Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to draw a realistic eye using pastel chalks, following Emmylou's Fine Art Workshop YouTube video.

Materials and Prep

Before starting the lesson, make sure you have a quiet and well-lit workspace.

Activities

1. Watch Emmylou's Fine Art Workshop YouTube video on drawing a realistic eye.
2. Set up your workspace with the materials listed above.
3. Using a pencil, lightly sketch the basic shape of an eye on your drawing paper.
4. Follow along with the video, using pastel chalks to add layers of color and shading to your eye drawing.
5. Pay attention to the details and highlights, as demonstrated in the video.
6. Once you are satisfied with your drawing, gently blend the colors using your fingers or a blending tool.
7. Clean up any excess chalk and refine your drawing with additional details, if desired.
8. Display your finished realistic eye drawing and admire your work!
