Activities

Show the apple picture or toy to the student and ask them to identify the object.
Explain that the object is an apple, and the word "apple" starts with the letter A.

Write the uppercase and lowercase letter A on the whiteboard or paper.
Ask the student to trace the letters with their finger, saying the sound of the letter A as they trace.

Provide the student with a sheet of construction paper and scissors.
Guide them to cut out the letter A from the construction paper.

Ask the student to glue the letter A onto a separate piece of paper.
Encourage them to draw or decorate the paper with pictures of apples.
