Materials and Prep

Activities
- Introduction: Show the student different pictures or drawings of mushrooms and discuss their unique colors and patterns. Ask the student which colors they find most interesting or appealing.
- Coloring Time: Provide the student with a blank piece of paper or a sketchbook. Encourage them to use their favorite colors or experiment with different color combinations to create their own mushroom artwork.
- Research Time (optional): If the student is curious to learn more about mushrooms, guide them in using a computer or tablet to find additional pictures or information about different types of mushrooms. Discuss the colors they discover during their research.
- Show and Tell: Have the student share their artwork with you or other family members. Ask them to explain the colors they chose and why they find mushrooms fascinating.
