Provide the toddler with colorful construction paper, scissors, glue stick, and markers or crayons. Encourage them to cut out shapes resembling different parts of a fire truck, such as wheels, ladder, and lights. Help them glue the shapes onto a larger piece of construction paper to create their own fire truck collage.
Play different sound clips of fire truck sirens, horns, and engines. Have the toddler listen carefully and try to match the sound with the corresponding picture of the fire truck part that makes that sound.
Provide the toddler with coloring pages or printed pictures of fire trucks. Encourage them to use markers or crayons to color the fire trucks, emphasizing the different colors used on various parts of the truck.
