No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Start by discussing the characters from Bluey with the toddler. Ask them who their favorite character is and why they like them.
- Encourage the toddler to imagine a new adventure for their favorite Bluey character. Ask them to think about where the adventure takes place and what challenges the character might face.
- Provide the toddler with paper and crayons or colored pencils. Ask them to draw a picture of their chosen Bluey character in their new adventure.
- Once the drawing is complete, assist the toddler in writing a short sentence or two about the adventure. Encourage them to use their imagination and describe what is happening in the picture.
- After the sentence is written, have the toddler read it aloud to you. Praise their efforts and creativity.
