Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify different bird species and create their own bird artwork using basic materials.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed: paper, crayons or markers, bird identification book or online resource.

Prepare by finding pictures of different bird species to show the student during the lesson.

Activities

1. Bird Identification: Show the student pictures of different birds and discuss their unique features and colors.

2. Bird Drawing: Have the student choose a bird to draw and then use crayons or markers to create their own bird artwork.
