Activities
- Create a Collage: Provide the student with old magazines or newspapers. Let them cut out pictures or shapes that they like and glue them onto a blank sheet of paper to create their own collage.
- Draw Your Favorite Animal: Ask the student to think about their favorite animal and draw it using coloring pencils or crayons. Encourage them to add details and use different colors to make it vibrant.
- Make a Handprint Art: Ask the student to place their hand on a blank sheet of paper and trace around it using a pencil. Then, let them decorate the handprint using coloring pencils or crayons. They can add patterns, shapes, or even turn it into an animal or a flower.
- Finger Painting: Give the student a blank sheet of paper and some non-toxic finger paints. Let them explore different colors and create their own artwork using their fingers as brushes. Encourage them to experiment with different strokes and patterns.
