Activities
- Spelling Bee: Create a list of 10-15 words for the student to spell. Take turns being the "speller" and the "judge". The judge can use the dictionary to confirm the correct spelling.
- Word Search: Create a word search puzzle with spelling words. The student can find and circle the words in the puzzle.
- Spelling Relay: Divide the words into two sets. Place the sets at opposite ends of the room. The student can take turns running to the set, memorizing a word, and then running back to write it correctly on the paper.
- Spelling Memory Game: Create pairs of cards with words written on them. Shuffle the cards and lay them face down. The student can take turns flipping two cards at a time, trying to find matching pairs of words.
