Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to count and recognize numbers by placing dot stickers on a pot of gold.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed: dot stickers, paper, marker

Prep: Draw a large pot of gold outline on the paper with numbers inside.

Activities

1. Counting Fun: Place a dot sticker on each number in the pot of gold as you count aloud.

2. Number Recognition: Call out a number and have the child find and place a dot sticker on that number.

3. Colorful Counting: Use different colored dot stickers for each number to make it more engaging.

  • "Let's count together as we put dot stickers on the pot of gold. One, two, three!"
  • "Can you find the number 5 for me? Let's put a red dot sticker on it."
