Activities
- Create Shape Cutouts: Cut out large shapes from the construction paper and color them. Show the shapes to Amari and say their names.
- Shape Hunt: Scatter the cutout shapes around the room. Encourage Amari to find and match the shapes.
- Sing and Dance: Create a simple song about shapes and dance together while singing the names of the shapes.
Talking Points
- Circle: "Look, Amari! This is a circle. It's round like a ball."
- Square: "Wow, Amari! This is a square. It has four sides that are all the same length."
- Triangle: "See this, Amari? This is a triangle. It has three sides and looks like a slice of pizza."
