No prior knowledge required.
Activities
Create a Name Collage: Help your child cut out letters from magazines or newspapers to spell out their name. Then, have them glue the letters onto a piece of paper to create a name collage.
Name Tracing: Write your child's name on a piece of paper in large letters. Let them trace over the letters with different colored markers or crayons.
Name Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt around the house to find objects that start with the same letter as your child's name. Encourage them to say the name of each object out loud.
Letter Matching: Write down the letters of your child's name on separate pieces of paper. Then, have them match each letter to the corresponding letter in their name.
