Objective
By the end of the lesson, Elisabeth will be able to identify and describe the four seasons through hands-on forest education activities.
Materials and Prep
Materials: Nature journal, crayons, magnifying glass
Prep: Find a suitable forest area for exploration, ensure safety measures are in place

1. Nature Walk: Take a walk in the forest and observe the changes in nature for each season. Encourage Elisabeth to use her senses to notice different sights, sounds, and smells.
2. Seasonal Scavenger Hunt: Create a list of items related to each season for Elisabeth to find in the forest. For example, a leaf in fall, a flower in spring, snow in winter, etc.
3. Tree Identification: Teach Elisabeth how to identify different trees in the forest and explain how they change throughout the seasons.
