Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will learn about the science of dragons and their abilities as depicted in the Wings of Fire book series.
Materials and Prep
Materials: Wings of Fire book series (any book from the series), paper, coloring pencils/markers.
Prep: Read a chapter or section from the Wings of Fire book beforehand to familiarize yourself with the dragons' abilities.
Activities
1. Dragon Drawing: Choose a dragon from the book and draw it using your imagination. Add details about its special abilities.
2. Science of Dragons: Research real-life animals that have abilities similar to dragons in the book. Create a mini poster about one of these animals.
3. Storytelling: Write a short story about a dragon using the information you learned from the book and your research.

- Dragons in Wings of Fire have different abilities. For example, Tsunami can breathe underwater. Isn't that cool?
- Just like dragons, some animals in real life have amazing abilities. Did you know that chameleons can change color to blend in with their surroundings?
