By the end of this lesson, Vincey will learn about our exciting road trip from South Carolina to Colorado, understand the impact of Hurricane Helene on South Carolina and North Carolina, and discover how robots can help us during our travels!

Before the lesson, review the route we took and gather interesting facts about Hurricane Helene and how it changed the landscape in South Carolina and North Carolina.

Activities

• Draw Your Route: Vincey can draw a map showing our road trip route from South Carolina to Colorado. He can include important stops and draw robots helping along the way!
• Hurricane Helene Storytime: Share a simple story about Hurricane Helene and how it affected the places we drove through. Vincey can imagine what it would be like if a robot helped clean up after the hurricane.
