Objective
By the end of this lesson, Tommy will have a deeper understanding of the characters, themes, and lessons from Spongebob Square Pants. He will also create his own Spongebob-inspired character and story, enhancing his creativity and storytelling skills.
Materials and Prep

- Access to a Spongebob Square Pants episode (optional for reference)
Before the lesson, it would be helpful to watch an episode of Spongebob Square Pants together to refresh Tommy's memory about the characters and themes.
Activities
- Character Exploration: Tommy will choose his favorite Spongebob character and draw them on paper. He will write down three things he likes about that character and why.
- Create Your Own Character: Tommy will design his own underwater character inspired by Spongebob. He can think about their name, what they look like, and what makes them special.
- Story Time: Using his new character, Tommy will write a short story about an adventure they have in Bikini Bottom. He can include Spongebob and his friends in the story if he wants!
- Theme Discussion: Discuss the main themes of friendship and teamwork found in Spongebob Square Pants. Tommy can share his thoughts on why these themes are important.
