Objective

By the end of this lesson, I will be able to read and understand a Minecraft-themed story, identify key vocabulary words, and create my own short Minecraft adventure story using the vocabulary learned.

Before the lesson, prepare a short Minecraft-themed story or description that includes key vocabulary words related to Minecraft, such as "creeper," "block," "craft," and "survive."

Activities

• Reading Time:

  Start by reading the Minecraft-themed story together. As you read, pause to discuss any unfamiliar words and their meanings. This will help build vocabulary and comprehension skills.

• Vocabulary Hunt:

  After reading, create a list of key vocabulary words from the story. I will then draw pictures or write definitions for each word, helping to reinforce understanding.

• Create Your Own Story:

  Using the vocabulary words learned, I will write my own short Minecraft adventure story. This encourages creativity and allows for practice in writing and storytelling.
