Activities
Read a story together: Choose a book or a short story that interests you. Read it together with your parent or guardian. Pay attention to the characters, setting, and main events in the story.
Discuss the story: After reading, have a conversation about the story. Ask questions like:
- Who were the main characters in the story?
- Where did the story take place?
- What happened in the beginning, middle, and end of the story?
- Did you like the story? Why or why not?
Draw or write about the story: Use paper and pencils to draw a picture of your favorite part of the story or write a short summary of what happened. This will help you remember and understand the story better.
Read aloud to someone: Choose another book or story and practice reading aloud to someone, like a family member or a pet. Pay attention to your pronunciation and try to read with expression.
