Activities

Read a story together with the student. Encourage them to pay attention to the characters in the story.

After reading, ask the student to draw their favorite character from the story on a piece of paper.

Discuss the characteristics of the character with the student. Ask questions like:
- What does the character look like?
- What is the character's name?
- What are some words that describe the character's personality?

Encourage the student to write a sentence or two describing the character next to their drawing.

Repeat the activity with another story, focusing on a different character.
