- "Today, we are going to read some special books called children's classics. These books have been loved by many kids for a long time!"
- "When we read a story, it's important to listen carefully and try to understand what is happening. We can use our imagination to picture the characters and the places in our minds."
- "After we finish reading a book, we can draw a picture of our favorite part or character. We can use colors to make it look beautiful and special!"
- "Once we finish our drawing, we can write the name of the book and our name on it. It will be like a mini book cover!"
- "When we are done, we can share our artwork with others and tell them why we chose that scene or character. It's fun to hear different ideas and thoughts!"
- "Now, let's get started and have a great time reading and creating our own mini book covers!"
