- Prepare the whiteboard or paper for writing and drawing activities
Activities
1. Sight Word Scavenger Hunt: Write simple sight words on the whiteboard or paper and have the student search for objects around the house that start with those words.
2. Story Retelling: Read a picture book or story together and then have the student retell the story in their own words, using their favorite parts.
3. Word Family Drawing: Choose a word family (e.g., -at, -an) and have the student draw pictures of words from that family and label them.
