Activities
- Alphabet Flashcard Game: Show the student an alphabet flashcard and ask them to name the letter and a word that starts with that letter.
- Picture Book Reading: Read a picture book with simple words together, encouraging the student to read along with you.
- Word Building: Write simple words on the whiteboard and ask the student to sound out and blend the sounds to read the word.
- Sentence Reading: Provide the student with printed worksheets containing simple sentences. Encourage them to read each sentence out loud.

- "Today, we are going to have fun learning how to read!"
- "Let's start by playing a game with alphabet flashcards. I will show you a card, and I want you to tell me the letter and a word that starts with that letter."
