Okay, imagine the sky is like a big giant bowl above us. The air in this bowl is filled with tiny things called molecules. When the sunshine comes to us, it's not just one color; it has many colors mixed together, just like a rainbow!

Now, the blue light is very special. It travels and spreads out more than the other colors because it’s lighter. So when the sunlight hits those tiny molecules in the air, the blue light goes everywhere! That's why, when we look up, we see a beautiful blue sky!

But sometimes, like when the sun is setting, the sky can turn orange or pink. That happens because the sunlight travels a longer way through the air, and the blue light gets scattered away, letting the red and orange colors shine through. Isn’t that cool?
