Activities
- Show the toddler the alphabet flashcards or printed letters one by one. Say the name of each letter aloud and encourage the toddler to repeat after you.
- Ask the toddler to identify specific letters from the flashcards or printed letters. For example, "Can you find the letter 'A'?"
- Write a few letters on the blank paper or whiteboard and ask the toddler to name them.
- Encourage the toddler to trace the letters you have written using markers or crayons. Provide guidance if needed.
- Play a simple alphabet recognition game. Hold up a flashcard or printed letter and ask the toddler to name it as quickly as possible.
